As follows from it's name - INTESO is a Coehl implementation of personal or small size company organizer. It has basic functionality of scheduling events, keeping memos with attachments, notifying interested parties about upcoming events, maintaining contact lists, etc. Also, INTESO is designed the way it can be integraded with other organizers and groupware solutions, for example Microsoft Outlook.

The basic functionality of INTESO would not be new. However, it absolutely shines in the distributed grid environment, where instead of keeping all data in a single storage it is necessary to distribute storage across several nodes. User will not miss an appointment because computer the appointment was stored on went down. INTESO uses Coehl Platform failover and access-anywhere features to be functional even when serious grid failures occur. Since there is no centralized server and every node of the grid is capable of performing actions on it's own - user will be able to schedule appointemnts, receive notifications, etc even working with node which is offline. No contact or any scheduling information is lost.

INTESO data replication over the entire grid will also work with integrated third party applications. For example, a meeting scheduled in Microsoft Outlook can be accessed from any node in the grid. If update to a meeting was done while node was offline - all changes will be uploaded to the Outlook server whenever the node goes back online. So, users will not be afraid to lose any data if suddenly they lose internet connection.
